Last Night In Texas
It is 35 degrees! Jules (my dog) and I went to Starbucks this morning for the last time and said goodbye to everyone. I'm off to take care of a few more last minute errands and spend some time with some City of Fort Worth friends at lunch. I ended up hiring a customs broker to help me get my belonging into St Kitts with fewer issues. Once I started working with the firm, I was glad and found them to be incredibly helpful. If you ever need to ship to a location external to the U.S. I strongly recommend working with cargo/customs brokers. The scariest thing I did this week was to pack all my family pictures into one box. I said a prayer over that one, because everything else can be replaced. If I had more time I would have kinko'd the whole box and sent the originals to my mom. The next time I post I'll be posting from my new home. Oh and I have to do a article on my parents compound being built in Florida. The walls and roof are in and the next step is windows and doors! Check back soon for those pictures! ---One more thing...yesterday I bought a new digital camera that is waterproof to 10 ft. That means I will be posting underwater pictures!
