Saturday evening I visited the home of one of the faculty deans. There were a number of other professors there for dinner and drinks. The house was amazing. Sharon is a brilliant person but this view into her custom built home is startling. She did it all herself. I'm thinking of renting her downstairs apartment in May but I'm still contemplating whether I should. Certainly the views are amazing and the accomodations are first rate. I worry a bit about how Jules, Sarah, and I would fit into such posh accomodations. We might put some wear and tear on the place (especially Jules).
