I decided not to snorkel because my shoulders and face are burnt from yesterday. I ate breakfast at Timothy's Beach (same place I ate lobster yesterday) at the Cafe associated with the Timothy Beach Resort. It has an open air patio on the beach. I had a great cup of Costa Rican coffee and an omelet with ham, cheese, peppers, and crab. Yum. After eating at the cafe I took a nearby road to the southern pennisula of the island. This area is very mountainous and remote. The roads are not great and are very steep. Only a fraction of the cars on the island can make it over the hills. Mine was a rental and did great with a little chug and effort. These first photos are on my trip into the pennisula. Unbelievable and so beautiful.
